ABOUT THE BETA VERSION
ÜBER DIE BETA VERSION

The beta version of "Nikki and the Robots" is now available as a free download! Beta means that the game is not done. Much content will be added, features will be refined, and some bugs might occur. However, we have built in a fancy updater: Each time that you start up "Nikki and the Robots", an update menu option will notify you of new versions.
During the next weeks, among other things we will work on:

• improved performance
• improved interface design
• new types of robots
• sound effects

Die Beta-Version von "Nikki and the Robots" steht jetzt für Euch zum freien Download bereit! Beta bedeutet, dass das Spiel noch nicht fertig ist. Einiges an Inhalt wird noch geschaffen, Funktionen werden überarbeitet und es können auch einige Bugs auftreten. Allerdings haben wir einen schicken Updater eingebaut: Jedes mal, wenn Ihr "Nikki and the Robots" startet, wird ein Menüeintrag euch über neue Versionen informieren.
In den kommenden Wochen werden wir unter anderem an folgendem arbeiten:

• verbesserte Performance
• verbessertes Interface-Design
• neue Robotertypen
• Soundeffekte

Don't hestitate to report any bugs that you experience to the bugtracker! The bugtracker is rather easy to use, and you can find the help for Launchpad here.

You need a working OpenGL graphics card driver. Other than that, we can't really give you any system recommendations at the moment. If your hardware is not much older than 3 years, "Nikki and the Robots" should run pretty smoothly. The best thing is to just try it!

Ihr benötigt einen Computer mit einem Grafiktreiber, der OpenGL unterstützt. Abgesehen davon, können wir zu den Systemvoraussetzungen im Moment noch keine genaueren Angaben machen. Falls Eure Hardware nicht viel älter ist als drei Jahre, sollte "Nikki and the Robots" aber ganz flüssig laufen. Am besten, Ihr probiert es einfach mal aus!
